You've probably heard the news - "An upscale outlet mall is coming to Tucson!!!"

It's true! Tucson Premium Outlets is already under construction and is sure to be a hot shopping spot for residents and road-trippers.

Below you will find the 10 most-asked questions we receive about the outlets - with answers!

1. Where exactly will the Tucson Premium Outlets be located?

The center is located at the intersection of I-10 and Twin Peaks Road (Exit 244). More specifically, the address is 6401 W. Marana Center Blvd. If you're unfamiliar with the area, perhaps you've been to a sports game at Marana Junior High School (0.8 miles from the outlets) or to visit a friend in the Gladden Farms community (2.5 miles to the outlets)?

Town of Marana reps say Tucson Premium Outlets is " the first step in development of Marana Center - which will include at least one hotel, an auto mall, restaurants, a power center, and entertainment venues."

2. When will Tucson Premium Outlets open?

The center has an expected opening of October 2015.

3. How many stores will there be?

Tucson Premium Outlets is a 170-acre mixed-use commercial center that will feature a diverse mix of more than 90 retailers located in 360,000 square feet of leasable space.

4. WHAT stores will be among the 90?

5. What restaurants will there be at Tucson Premium Outlets?

That is the question of the hour. No restaurants have been announced at this time, but we do know that there will be 5 Food Court (Market Hall) locations and several smaller retailers throughout the center offering: coffee/convenient foods/pretzels/ice cream, etc.

6. Will there be a playground?

There will be a play area for children.

Great (related) news! The new Marana Splash Pad is about 3 minutes (0.2 miles) from the outlets. That's smart planning!

7. What other amenities will there be for families?

Tucson Premium Outlets will have family restrooms and a nursing lounge.

8. What other outlet malls have been constructed by Simon Property Group?

There are 84 Simon Premium Outlets in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and South Korea. Names you may recognize include Woodbury Common (New York City), Orlando Premium Outlets, Desert Hills (Palm Springs), Las Vegas Premium Outlets, and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets (Boston).
