Shamrock Farms undoubtedly makes many of of the products your family loves - milk, cottage cheese, whipping cream, and sour cream. Although the brand's products are sold at grocery stores nationwide, they are actually made right here in Arizona!
The working farm, which is home to over 10,000 cows, is located in Stanfield, Arizona (a small farming community just west of Casa Grande, north of I-8). Depending on where you live in Tucson, you can expect to drive about 75 minutes to get to the farm.
Shamrock Farms offers both tours to the general public and field trips for schools.
Shamrock Farms is in Stanfield, just west of Casa Grande (south of Phoenix). The address is: 40034 West Clayton Road, Stanfield, AZ 85172.
Founded 100 years ago with 20 cows, a truck, and a dream, Shamrock has grown into a national leader, serving customers coast to coast. Three generations later, Shamrock Foods Company is still family-owned and remains committed to The Shamrock Way: treating associates like family and customers and suppliers like friends. Shamrock Farms is also one of the largest milk companies in the country.
The farm is closed during the summer, but you can book a tour for other times in the year. See the website for complete details.
The four offers an opportunity for you to experience Shamrock Farms' pure, fresh farm-to-table story through a fun and educational one-hour guided tram tour!

You can also purchase fun add-ons to accentuate your experience:

Shamrock Farms has a small snack bar/cafe that sells hot dogs, chips, pretzels, ice cream, beverages, and other treats. Be sure to confirm that the stand will be open during your tour if you plan to eat on-site.
Not many! Shamrock Farms is located in the rural farming community of Stanfield. Your best best is to eat on-site or to pack a meal to bring with you.
If you do want to dine out, try Roots Eatery or Gyro Grill, but note that they are 20-25 minutes away (in the wrong direction from Tucson).
The Shamrock Farms tour is ideal for even very young children. In fact, the tour includes a stop at Roxie's Outdoor Adventure Land, a farm-themed playground! The pace of the tour is engaging and there are interactive components.
That being said, older children, teens, and adults will also find that there is plenty to learn as well. We recommend this tour as a fun outing that a family can enjoy together!
A stroller is probably not necessary. You may walk around a bit in the main building, but it is not particularly large. The tour itself is mostly on a tram.
No. That said, there is seating in the main building and you are welcome to nurse on the tram as well.
