April 27, 2017 by Stephanie Leave a Comment

Fill up your home bookshelves with novels, mysteries, cookbooks, classics, and picture books by shopping local this weekend – April 28-30, 2017.

There are a number of book sales happening around town…with like-new books at super low prices!

FRIENDS OF THE ORO VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Oro Valley Public Library

Each year, the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library at 1305 W. Naranja Dr. hold book sales in the Spring and Fall. With 32 categories holding more than 20,000 books, there is something for everyone. The sales run for 4 days, Wednesday through Saturday, culminating in the famous $7 bag day! The book sales have netted more than $97,000 to benefit the library since 2006.

  • Thursday, APRIL 27: 9:00am – 7:00pm
  • Friday, APRIL 28 – Half Price Day! 10:00am – 5:00pm
  • Saturday, APRIL 29 – Bag Day! 9:00am – 5:00pm
***For Bag Day, a $1 Friends reusable bag is required. Fill that bag with books for $7.

FRIENDS OF THE KIRK-BEAR CANYON LIBRARY

BOOKMANS GRANT LIQUIDATION SALE

Bookmans Grant Liquidation Sale

As you know, Bookmans Grant is now closed. As a final farewell, Bookmans Grant is holding a Liquidation Sale this weekend at the original Grant location (1930 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85719). Stock up on paperbacks ($1 each), hardbacks ($2 each), and CDs ($1 each). All sales are final. Trade will be accepted.

  • Saturday, APRIL 29: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Sunday, APRIL 30: 10:00am – 6:00pm

BOOKMANS MIDTOWN

Speaking of Bookmans Midtown, this weekend would be a great time to stop in to take a look at the new space. Located at Speedway & Country Club (in the same parking lot as Whole Foods), this location is open daily – 9:00am-10:00pm. Similar to all of the Bookmans stores in Arizona, you’ll find a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs, musical instruments, journals/stationary – PLUS free WiFi.

HAPPY BOOK-SHOPPING!
