Culinary Dropout Opens September 20

Culinary Dropout Tucson

Culinary Dropout at Grant Road Lumber Yard will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00am.

The 20,000 square foot restaurant, which is brought to you by the wildly popular Fox Restaurant Concepts (creators of Blanco Tacos & Tequila, North Italia, and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar), can be found in the original Grant Road Lumber location at 2543 E. Grant Road (just east of Tucson Blvd).

The restaurant prides itself in "classic meals done right." Crowd favorites include pretzel bites and provolone fondue, 36-hour pork ribs, and famous fried chicken drizzled with honey. Of course, you can also wash it all down with an ice-cold craft beer or a house-made cocktail.

Average lunch/dinner entrees range in price from $11 (The M.A.C. Burger or Garden Kale Salad) to $26 (Korean Style Ribeye Cap). Breakfasts are $8-$13.

Culinary Dropout also offers a menu for kids (aka "Little Monsters," according to their menu). The $6 meals are fairly standard: Chicken Tenders, Macaroni & Cheese, Cheeseburger, or Buttered Noodles with Parmesan. Served with fries or apples. Beverages are an additional $2. Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays (10am-2pm) is available for $4/kid.

What else can you do at Culinary Dropout besides eat? Watch college & professional sports on big-screen TVs or enjoying live music in a laid-back atmosphere.

Hours for the Tucson location are as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 11am–11pm
  • Thursday & Friday: 11am–1am
  • Saturday: 10am–1am
  • Sunday: 10am–10pm
