Summer Camps Drama Kids | Drama Camps in Tucson - Summer 2021


Location: NW and Eastside Locations

Join Drama Kids International for a full week of themed summer camp where students will participate in theater activities and games, take part in arts and crafts, and rehearse a play to be shared with family in a small showcase at the end of the week.

Unless otherwise indicated, camps are for ages 4-11 and are $225 per student per week.

Take 2! Musical Theater Summer Camps will develop your acting abilities as you collaborate with others to put together a full-length musical in only two weeks! ALL students have speaking, singing, and dancing parts. This year, the theme is: “The Trial of the Wicked Witch.” Your favorite fairy tale characters will convene in the court to determine if the Wicked Witch is innocent, guilty, or just misunderstood. A cast of well-known characters and great musical numbers in varying styles will be part of the dramatic fun, and the audience will help decide the Wicked Witch’s fate!

Summer Camps at the Presidio Museum

Location: Presidio San Agustin del Tucson Museum, 196 N. Court Ave, Tucson AZ 85701 

Live Tucson’s History Summer Camp
Weeks of June 7 and 21 | 8:30 am-2:30 pm
Ages 8-12

Experience the life of Presidio residents in this week-long camp through activities that may include Spanish soldier drills, tinsmithing, blacksmithing, and candle making.

Archaeology Summer Camp
June 14-18 | 8:30 am-2:30 pm
Ages 10-14

Campers will learn how archaeologists really work through a series of hands-on activities that include prehistoric tools, excavating our simulated site, and analyzing the artifacts that they have found.

Bilingual Theater/Re-enactment Summer Camp
June 21-25 | 8:30 am-2:30 pm
Ages 9-15

With guidance from historians, archaeologists, and dramatists, and access to a wide array of period structures, backdrops, costumes, and props, campers will truly feel they are living history. Extra bonus: this camp will be taught by a bilingual teacher who will provide immersion learning of Spanish with translations for non-Spanish speakers.
