eegee’s has opened its newest restaurant on the south side of Tucson at 502 W. Ajo Way. This restaurant replaces the one previously located at 3743 S. 12th Ave. which was closed to accommodate the new location.
The 2,140 square-foot restaurant can accommodate approximately 66 guests in the dining room and will employ nearly 40 team members from the local area. This new location was designed to incorporate a drive-thru, which the previous location did not have. The location's hours are from 9:30am to 10:00pm and the drive thru closes at 11:00pm 7 days a week.
The highlight of the new restaurant is the rebranding which includes brand new exterior signage and interior artwork. The building signage features a new eegee’s logo that incorporates a large cup with LED lighting that can be programmed to any color with a simple remote control. The color will change to represent the flavor of the month or any special promotional campaign. The interior walls and light fixtures are designed to showcase product offerings in a way that will enhance the dining experience. eegee’s menu items are presented in a larger than life manner throughout the dining room. Additionally, there is a wall dedicated to the Social Media commentary from eegee’s customers including quotes and images from their most passionate fans.
“Our goal in designing this store was to communicate our brand attributes of freshness and fun,” says Robert Jensen, President of eegee’s, “The new artwork delivers on our positioning of Life is Better With eegee’s by highlighting our unique menu items throughout the store to remind customers why they choose to dine with us.”
eegee’s will have a grand opening celebration event at the new location on Sunday, February 8 from noon-2 pm. The event will feature opportunities to win cash and prizes through a spin to win wheel and a money booth.
