My two-year-old daughter and I go to the library a lot. We go to several different east-side libraries, but our favorite by far is the Kirk-Bear Canyon branch. Sometimes I drop her off at grandma's house and go to read there alone. There are lots of comfy sitting areas and quiet corners, which make it perfect for reading in peace.
