Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum: Meet the Neighbors at Richard Elías-Mission Library

October 18, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Learn why our desert is so diverse and why diversity is good for us, then meet a few of the animals that live in our biodiverse region! Experts from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will speak about the unique desert that surrounds us, accompanied by some animal friends.

Ask most people to describe a “desert” and you’ll likely hear words like dry, hot, and dusty. The Sonoran Desert defies stereotypes with a great variety of plants, animals, and ecosystems.
