Join Creative Kind and Claire from Marigold Fontana for a Ceramic Saguaro Wall Hanging Workshop!

Guest instructor Claire will take you from start to finish to create a gorgeous saguaro wall hanging, and Melissa will provide instructions on creating a tassel that will be attached to your finished saguaro.

The perfect addition to any southwest home, or great as a gift for someone who loves those desert vibes!

During this workshop you will learn:

• The basics of slab built ceramics including smoothing, compressing, and cutting clay
• How to use underglaze and ceramic tools to create colorful designs and texture on your piece
• Techniques to make a tassel using macrame cord or embroidery floss

By the end of this workshop you’ll have crafted a one-of-a-kind wall hanging, using several personalization options like deciding whether or not to add flowers and choosing between a glossy or matte finish for your final piece. You’ll create all the rib details on your saguaro by hand as well – no two wall hangings will be alike!

*Finished wall hangings will be ready for pick up in about 4 weeks.
*Accidents occasionally occur in the firing process. Claire will be making back-up pieces to ensure everyone receives a wall hanging.
