On the first Thursday of the month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On April’s First Thursday, discover works of art from the Arizona Biennial 2023 and join Biennial artists Jacqueline Arias and Saskia Jorda as they share insights on textile and narrative, discuss their artistic process, share insights on their works in the biennial, and discuss how they relate to their larger body of works at 5:30 pm in the Stonewall Community Room.
The evening will feature art and gallery activities, led by Ami and Laila that will include experimental weaving and a scavenger hunt. The first 10 people to complete the scavenger hunt will win a special TMA prize.
