Hawaiian Hula Dance Class at Martha Cooper Library

Be moved by the lilting music of Hawai’i. Learn basic steps to this graceful, expressive dance, including modern and ancient styles.

There will be a demonstration of implements used in ancient hula (gourds and bamboo sticks). Colorful island cloths & leis will be provided for use.

Space is limited for this free event. Tickets will be available at the desk a half hour before the start of the program. Must be present to receive a ticket.
