How to Make Costumes and Masks at Oro Valley Public Library

FreeHey Teens! Check out this special event taking place during Open Lab!
Join an introductory class in costuming for parties and events. Class will cover research techniques to determine costume elements, paper mache mask making, capes, collars, and hats. Quick applique and clothing modification for costume, discussion of thrift store elements for basic costuming.
Attendees are asked to bring one or more basic, expendable clothing items for permanent modification into a costume. Alteration is expected to permanently change the item. Preparation may include a predetermined idea for a costume.
