Linocut Bandana Workshop at Creative Kind

Melissa will guide you from start to finish in creating a unique and hand stamped bandana, perfect for the upcoming summer months.

You’ll design a linoleum stamp with a simple pattern, then use a brayer to transfer ink to your design.

Your bandana will be hand stamped, which will create a uniquely textured and patterned finished piece.

Additional stamps will be available for you to use and, even though the designs are simple, the possibilities are endless!

During this workshop you will learn:

• Tools needed create a linocut
• Linocut safety
• How to create and cut a unique lino block
• The best ways to burnish your design onto fabric, paper, and other materials

After the workshop, you’ll go home with a finished bandana that will work wonderfully as an addition to any wardrobe. With the skills you learn in this workshop, you’ll be able to go on to create as many linocut projects as your heart desires, with the options of using your newfound skills in textiles and paper crafts.
