Living History Day will focus on the Spanish Old World cultural influences and traditions of All Soul’s Day and how that developed into the New World traditions for Día de los Muertos. Activities may include making paper flowers, sugar skulls, or Calavera masks. Samplings of champurrado and Pan de Muertos will also be available.

In addition to themed activities, other opportunities for visitors include:
***interactive demonstrations of children’s games and weaving
***soldiers practicing their drills
***watching and learning how the soldiers fire their muskets
***pumping the bellows of the blacksmith’s forge
***candle making
