Make A Worm Bin at Tucson Botanical Gardens

October 15, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Love worms and all things slimy? Help Tucson Botanical Gardens make the perfect worm bin for some hard-working worms. These wiggly guys then use their natural worm powers to create compost and make rich soil to be used throughout the Botanical Gardens. No gardening skills are required!

Did you know that newspapers make the perfect worm bedding? If you (or neighbors or grandparents) have newspaper at home, please bring some with you.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can get dirty.
  • This is an outdoor project so please bring water, a hat, and/or sunscreen.
  • Once the worm bin is created, you are welcome to tour the Botanical Gardens!

Pre-registration is required.
