Children's Museum Tucson is breaking out the hammers, saws, and glue guns and bringing them into the Curiosity Courtyard for a fun, creative maker opportunity.
The museum will be bringing the creativity of their indoor MakerSpace outdoors. Tables will be set up in the courtyard, each accommodating a family or small social group for socially distant, creative fun!
Kids get the chance to explore tools, design, build, and create projects from their wildest imagination, and construct freely in facilitated kid-centric maker workshops.
Adults learn right alongside the kids, raising their awareness of how to encourage open-ended creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Sustainability meets creativity!
Free admission includes supplies and tools and a working space in the courtyard. It does not include Museum entry.
Each workshop will be themed, with a suggested project for kids to make. But it’s just that: a SUGGESTION. Let your imagination fly and make whatever your mind can create!
