Meet the Neighbors with the Desert Museum at W. Anne Gibson-Esmond Station Library

October 14, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 11:45 am

Experts from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will speak about the unique desert that surrounds us, accompanied by some animal friends.

Ask most people to describe a “desert” and you’ll likely hear words like dry, hot, and dusty. The Sonoran Desert defies
stereotypes with a great variety of plants, animals and ecosystems. Learn why our desert is so diverse and why diversity is good for us, then meet a few of the animals that live in our biodiverse region!
