Three cheers for three years!
Celebrate the third birthday of Penzi, Reid Park Zoo’s littlest elephant, and one of the Zoo’s most beloved ambassadors. Learn all about elephants and what it takes to care for them at the Zoo. Help sing Happy Birthday and watch as Penzi and her family crunch into a special birthday enrichment.
There will be free cupcakes for the first 300 kids (while supplies last), performances by Mr. Nature, games, elephant-themed crafts, and more. Take your own “elfie” and show your support for elephants everywhere. Meet docents with animal artifacts, leave a message on a giant card for Penzi and the herd, and hear what you can do to help protect wild elephants as we honor all things pachyderm.
