Potty Training Program at Arizona Diaper Bank

April 29, 2024 @ 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

The Potty Training Program offered by the Arizona Diaper Bank is a comprehensive and effective approach to help parents teach their children how to use the toilet independently. The program focuses on providing step-by-step guidance and resources to support the transition from diapers to using the potty. It includes techniques for introducing the concept of using the toilet, establishing a routine, and addressing common challenges that parents may face during the process. The program aims to empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to successfully potty train their children, promoting confidence and self-sufficiency.

The Arizona Diaper Bank, along with funding support from Tucson Electric Power, realizes that supporting families in their efforts to potty train their child is another important step to reducing diaper need in our community.

Material, educational, and moral support are essential to parents’ success. Providing the tools for a family-positive approach can alleviate the stress of potty training.

In addition to the training class, you will be provided with the following Kit:

  • Book for Parents: “The First-Time Parent’s Guide to Potty Training- How to Ditch the Diapers fast and for Good!” - by Jazmine McCoy, PsyD
  • Book for Child: “Potty Bacinica” - by Leslie Patricelli
  • Potty Chair
  • Cotton Training Pants: 3 pairs of Toddler size (2T, 3T, or 4T)
