Presidio Museum's Holiday Celebration

Celebrate the winter holidays at the Presidio Museum! The museum will be open until 7:00pm. Attendees arriving after 3:00pm will enjoy making ornaments, playing historic games, and drinking hot chocolate among festive lights and luminarias.

Tucson High School’s Mariachi Rayos del Sol will play holiday and traditional mariachi music at 4:00pm. Twas the Night Before Christmas and The Legend of the Poinsettia will be read at 4:45pm and 6:15pm.

The Holiday Tavern will also be open, selling spiked and regular champurrado and spiked and regular egg nog, as well as beer and wine. Free tastings of posole, cookies, and non-alcoholic champurrado will be enjoyed, and tamale dinners will be available for sale.

There will also be the soldados’ night musket and cannon firing and even a few shooting contests among the soldiers!

Included with admission, which can be purchased upon arrival.
