Santa Gertrudis Day/Anza Day at Tubac Presidio State Historic Park

March 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Celebrate the Feast Day of Santa Gertrudis, for whom the Presidio’s chapel was named. Santa Gertrudis was a Belgian nun and her name graced the church in Tubac from 1767 to 1917.

Starting off, Anza Trail Color Guard will hold a Santa Gertrudis Day Parade through the Village of Tubac at 10:00am (starting at the frontage road). After parading the town with all the other celebrants, they will return to the Presidio for the St. Ann’s remembrance ceremony.

Lots of activities for young and the young at heart! Experience an architectural discussion tour of St. Ann’s, Anza’s rededication of the Church and scheduled talks about the Dark Ages from Santa Gertrudis. Don’t miss the riders!

Food and Belgian beer garden will be available for purchase, and admission is free.
