Summer Safari Friday Nights at Reid Park Zoo

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Friday, repeating until August 3, 2018
Reid Park Zoo’s Summer Safari Friday Nights are back with nights full of adventure! Enjoy the Zoo each Friday during cooler evening temperatures with a variety of added benefits. Benefits include:
- Live Music Every Friday Night (band schedule coming soon)
- Wildlife Activities (During evening events, animals are given access to their night-houses for their comfort. Some animals may choose to be in their holding areas behind-the-scenes)
- Food & Drink Specials
- Animal Encounters
- Theme Nights (see below)
- Animal Biofacts
Zoo keeper chats, animal encounters, sponsor booths, and a variety of activities. Remember to bring a blanket so you can sit back and relax in the Event Garden while you enjoy the concert.

Explore the world’s lesser known and mysterious animals at the Zoo during this Freaky Friday.

Learn about the work RPZ supports to protect wild animals and wild places. Learn how you can help too!
July 27th: Animal Enrichment
Animals that exercise and solve brain puzzles. Join us to learn and see first hand how the animal care staff provides daily mental and physical activities for the animals every day at the Zoo.
