Celebrate Archaeology Awareness Month! How has archaeology helped us learn about the history of the Tucson area? You can find out the answer to that question through a series of hands-on activities and demonstrations that may include a flintknapping (stone tool making) demonstration and/or atlatl throwing.

While you’re at Fort Lowell, head down the street to see the beautiful San Pedro Chapel at 5230 E. Fort Lowell, which will also be open for viewing from 10am – 1 pm.
