Survival 101 Classes at International Wildlife Museum

Are you prepared? The first step in survival is getting into the survival mindset. This class is geared for ages 10 years old to adults and will give you a broad overview of how to get you and your family into the survival mindset to make it through when the unexpected happens!

Online Registration Required. Deadline to register is Monday, October 30. Minimum of 10 participants per class required. If minimum is not met, class will be cancelled and your fees will be refunded. Please note, this is not a drop-off event. Adult must register and stay with any children taking the class. Kidz Kamp participants must have an adult taking the Survival 101 class.

1st Class – November 6, 6-7:30pm
Learn the rule of 3’s, the 10 C’s and more! This is an introduction to the basics of survival. Includes Museum Admission so come as early as 5pm to tour the museum before the class starts.
Cost: $10/adult; $6/child ages 10-17
Member Cost: $7/adult; $3/child ages 10-17

2nd Class – November 8, 6-7:30pm
This class builds upon the first, but can stand alone as well. We will be building our own survival kits to take home and learning about each item. Includes Museum Admission so come as early as 5pm to tour the museum before the class starts.
Cost: $25/person includes all materials for one kit

Family Deal
Includes both classes for 2 adults and 2 kids and 1 survival kit for the family.
Cost: $50
Member Cost: $38

Kidz Kamp
Need childcare for your younger kids while you attend class? We’ll be holding Kidz Kamp for ages 5-9 years in the Museum for only $5/child! Activities, games, snack, crafts and live animal encounters included from 6-7:30pm!
