A 12-mile community bike ride that explores bike-friendly routes around the city as well as some large and smaller neighborhood parks. Fun for experienced riders or beginners! If you are new to biking around Tucson, this is a great introduction to safe routes, new biking friends, and how to safely participate in group rides. Start at the Woods Memorial Library and use neighborhood bike routes to reach Mansfeld Park, Himmel Park, and meander through midtown neighborhoods in between to finish back at Woods Memorial Library.
The library will provide a safe route, taking as many bike routes and neighborhood streets as possible but there will be a few major street crossings (with traffic lights). Participants should bring water, snacks, sun protection and your helmet.
Before your arrive:
You will need to bring and wear your own helmet.
Any rider under the age of 18 must ride with a parent or guardian.
A waiver will need to be signed the day of the tour by all participants.
