Join others on an 7-mile community bike ride that explores a bunch of science-related locations on the U of A campus. Start at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library and head over to the turtle pond, the back of the architecture school, the human sundial at the Flandrau planetarium, then meander to the Tree Ring Lab and then on to the Environment and Natural Resources 2 building. From there, head back to the Main Library using the 5th Street and University bike routes.
The library will provide a safe route, taking as many bike routes and neighborhood streets as possible, but there will be streetcar track crossings and few major street crossings (with traffic lights). Participants should bring water, snacks, sun protection, and your helmet.
Before your arrive:
You will need to bring and wear your own helmet.
Any rider under the age of 18 must ride with a parent or guardian.
A waiver will need to be signed the day of the tour by all participants.
