US-Mexican Border Talk at Joyner-Green Valley Library

March 3, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Do you wonder whether the US has a humanitarian crisis, a politically-charged disaster, or a national emergency at our southern border? Would you like to understand more about what’s currently happening there?

Join Joyner-Green Valley Library for a fact-based presentation about the US-Mexican border, asylum-seekers, and some of the recent changes the US government has made to the immigration laws that affect north-bound migrants.

Alyson Ball is a resident of Charlottesville, Virginia and spends her winters in Green Valley, Arizona. Having studied the broader topic of US immigration, Alyson gives a non-political, educational presentation, “US Immigration – The Basics,” to audiences throughout the country.
