Wild Hope at Fox Tucson Theatre

March 5, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

National Geographic photographer, filmmaker, writer, and explorer Ami Vitale will take us on a journey! Through photography, film, and storytelling, she will share powerful stories that reframe the human-nature relationship– and in the process, drive change and inspire us all to push boundaries, break glass ceilings, and have an impact in our daily lives.

Her belief that “you can’t talk about humanity without talking about nature” led her from documenting warzones to telling some of the most compelling wildlife and environmental stories of our time, where individuals are making a profound difference in the future of their communities and this planet.

She has lived in mud huts and war zones, contracted malaria, and donned a panda suit—all in keeping with her philosophy of “living the story.” One of Instyle Magazine’s “Fifty Badass Women,” she has won numerous photography, journalism, and humanitarian awards.
