The 50th Annual Winter Street Fair is December 13, 14, and 15th, 2019 and takes place along Historic Fourth Avenue between Eighth Street and University Boulevard. Open from 10am to dusk, the event is free to the public and brings over 350 arts and crafts booths, delicious food vendors, two stages, musicians, performers, face painting, and tons of other fun activities all packed into an amazing three days of celebration.
Come for the shopping: Over 350 booths featuring arts and crafts that cover the spectrum from fine art to country crafts.
Come for the food: Over 50 food vendors selling an eclectic mix of good things to eat.
Come for the music: With two stages to choose from on 5th Street and 7th Street, the professional lineup includes top local performers playing all your top hits.
Come for the experience: Voted Best Annual Festival in Tucson Weekly’s Best of Tucson 2019 for the 6th year in a row, the Street Fair is the source of funding for 20+ non-profit groups that derive (in some cases the majority of) their income from the Fair, to the City which obtains a boost in sales taxes and a savings in services demanded, to the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association that earns the funds to keep Fourth Avenue a draw for all who live and visit Tucson.
Held twice a year, the Fourth Avenue Street Fair began 49 years ago when Fourth Avenue merchants put tables in front of their stores to attract customers before the holidays. It has developed into one of the premier street fairs in the nation, drawing crowds of over 300,000 per show and ranked as one of the top visual art fairs in the country. The Street Fair has also developed into a Tucson tradition and an event that has an impact on every Tucsonan in one way or another.
