Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale - A Fun Family Vacation for Any Season

If you've never stayed at a Four Seasons, we'll tell you what sets them apart.

  • Gorgeous properties in coveted locations
  • Attention to the smallest details
  • Warm & welcoming staff

From the time you arrive on a Four Seasons property to the time you check out, you can expect to be transported to a place of old-fashioned Hollywood luxury and manners. Uniformed bellmen will tip their hats at you. The concierge, outfitted in a pressed polo and genuine smile, will be ready with answers to any of your pressing travel questions. Pool attendants will wander the pool area with complimentary treats. Your children will be delighted by kid-sized chairs, robes, and dining utensils.

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale offers all of these amenities and more, making it the best resort in the Phoenix valley for relaxation and fun.

ROOMS

Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, with your kids, or part of a business group, there are a number of different guestroom and casita options to fit your needs. The decor at Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North fits effortlessly into the desert landscape without being boring. The rooms are inviting and cheerful with crisp white sheets, vibrant seating, and luxurious bathrooms.

SWIMMING

While there is no waterslide or lazy river at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, the large family pool is desirable for all ages. Pool toys - like water noodles, water footballs, and oversized water pillows - are available for your use. Adjacent to the family pool, you'll find a darling toddler pool, which is under 2 feet all the way around the perimeter. The bottom of the pool features charming illustrations of turtles and other friendly-looking sea creatures. If you prefer a bit of solitude, you can set up for the day at the adults-only pool.

KIDS FOR ALL SEASONS

Traveling with kids of any age up to 12? Don't miss the Kids For All Seasons area. KFAS is a complimentary program for hotel guests. You can drop off your children anytime between 9:00am and 5:00pm for supervised fun.

The Kids For All Seasons space at Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North includes:

  • an arts & crafts area
  • toddler room
  • foosball
  • ping pong
  • air hockey
  • chalk wall
  • lego nook
  • wii room
  • xbox room
  • movie theatre (with cushy leather armchairs!)

We've popped in at the kids clubs of many high-end resort chains and Kids For All Seasons is the largest, most interesting, and most inviting among them. Each room is themed (Super Mario Bros in the wii room, Star Wars in the xbox room, Winnie-the-Pooh in the toddler room, etc) and very clean.

The best part is you don't have to drop off your kids! You can stay with them to enjoy all of the Kids For All Seasons activities and amenities. In fact, parents are required to stay with any young children (ages 4 and under).

ON-SITE ACTIVITIES

It would be easy to stay the whole weekend without leaving the property at Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North. Aside from swimming and the Kids For All Seasons program, you can also: go hiking at Pinnacle Peak, play tennis or a round of golf, visit the spa, listen to live music, or workout in the fitness center. You will also want to check the resort calendar for complimentary dive-in movies, astronomy talks, and cocktail/wine samplings.

DINING

Proof Canteen at Four Seasons Scottsdale Troon North is the ideal kind of resort restaurant. It's upscale without being pretentious, gourmet while still being approachable.

Waiters, waitresses, hosts, and hostesses are outfitted in cheerful checkered shirts and jeans so you'll feel right at home yourself whether you choose to wear a necktie, a swishy sundress, or a pair of jean shorts.

The decor is road trip themed and the food is "American homestyle comfort fare." You'll be able to pronounce all of the menu items with ease. There's even an old-fashioned soda fountain where you can order up sundaes, milkshakes, or candy by the pound.

Speaking of ice cream, be sure to have your children pick up passports at the front desk. They can get their passports stamped at various locations around the resort. The final prize? A scoop of ice cream from the soda fountain!

BABY-FRIENDLY

Visiting with a wee one? Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North knows babies and toddlers. Just ask and your room will come decked out with a crib, a humidifier, baby soap/shampoo, bumper-proofed furniture, and a special tot-friendly welcome snack.

When you dine at Proof, your toddler (4 and under) eats free and will be served on a brightly colored plastic tray - with kid-sized utensils to boot! Highchairs, children's menus, and plastic glasses with lids are also available upon request.

If your bun is still in the oven, note that the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North offers a Hello Baby babymoon package, which includes a maternity pillow for use during your stay, an ice cream sundae, and a $100 resort credit.
