Tucson's 1st Galaxy Theatres - Opening November 1st!

Attention: Movie-Lovers in East/Southeast Tucson!

The new Galaxy Theatres, at 100 S. Houghton Rd (near Broadway), is finally nearing completing. The confirmed opening date of the 50,000 square foot theatre is November 1, 2018.

While this will be the first Galaxy Theatres location in Arizona, there are 14 in the United States. Galaxy Theatres is is known for "providing guests with a world-class movie entertainment destination and award-winning hospitality." The theatres feature luxurious leather reclining chairs and full state-of-the-art multi-media presentation capability.

Before taking your seat, you can order a bucket of popcorn, made with coconut oil and real butter by request. Other popular items on the menu include monster pretzels, pretzel sticks, and a premium sausage bar with unlimited toppings and choice of bun.

There will be nine screens at the Tucson location. The theatre confirmed that they will be showing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" for opening week. Check the Galaxy Theatres app for the full schedule!
