DELIVERY

Albertsons and Safeway offer grocery delivery to the following Tucson zip codes:

Delivery fees range from $3.95 - $9.95. Promotional offers may or may not be consistent with weekly in-store ads. Paper coupons cannot be applied. Customers place online orders with a mobile app, smart tablet, or computer.

DRIVE UP & GO

Customers place online orders with a mobile app, smart tablet, or computer. They then select the time window they wish to pick up their order. Customers arrive at the Drive Up & Go location, pull into designated parking spots, and call a phone number. Employees bring the product to the customer’s car – and place it in their vehicle. There are no service fees. Paper coupons cannot be applied. Tips are not accepted. Please call the store nearest to you to see if Drive Up & Go is currently offered.

DELIVERY

Customers can purchase Boost, a new level of membership within Fry’s VIP loyalty program. Starting at just $59/year, Boost provides benefits such as Free Delivery, double Fuel Points on in-store, Pickup, and Delivery orders, and exclusive offers. Boost benefits customers by providing access to additional value, convenience, support, and inspiration through savings on products and services and can save members more than $1,000 per year! In addition to all the benefits of Boost, members receive access to over $100 in exclusive savings on Specialty Brands upon enrollment.

Pickup is free with a $35 minimum purchase or there is a $4.95 service fee for orders under $35. All Pickup prices are the same as in-store. Both paper and digital coupons can be used through Pickup. You can shop, add digital coupons, and place an order via the Fry's mobile app or at frysfood.com. Just select your store and begin creating your order.

INSTACART

Here's how it works:

1. Create an Instacart account.
2. Shop your favorite local stores on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android.
3. Schedule a delivery. You can have your groceries delivered in as little as two hours or schedule your delivery for later in the week.
4. Groceries arrive at your doorstep! Total game-changer for your weekly schedule!

Instacart has partnerships with more than 600 national, regional, and local grocers across North America. In Tucson, Instacart has partnerships with AJ's Fine Foods, Albertsons, Bashas’, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, BevMo, Big Lots, buybuy BABY, Cardenas Markets, Costco, CVS Pharmacy, Disney Store, El Super, Family Dollar, Food City, Natural Grocers, Fry’s, Petco, Safeway, Sam's Club, Sephora, Sprouts, Restaurant Depot, Total Wine, The Vitamin Shoppe, and more. Customers can view retailers for delivery in their area by opening the Instacart mobile app and entering their delivery address.

*Please note - store availability varies by zip code so not all zip codes will have access to all the same stores. When a customer puts in their zip code, they will see all the stores available to them. 

Instacart delivery fees start at $3.99 for same-day orders over $35. Fees vary for one-hour deliveries and deliveries under $35.

Instacart Express membership pricing is $99/year or $9.99/month. With an Instacart Express membership, customers don’t pay a delivery fee and have a reduced service fee on all orders over $35.

All retail partners set the prices of products available for delivery on the Instacart platform. As such, for some retailers, prices may be higher than in-store.

While each retail partner controls the price of their products available on the Instacart marketplace, more than half of Instacart's partners offer customers same as in-store pricing through Instacart. Where there are item markups by a particular store, customers are notified that prices vary relative to store prices so they can make clear and informed purchasing decisions.

Instacart is working closely with retail partners to expand loyalty offerings on the platform. For retailers who are currently offering loyalty card integrations on the platform, loyalty cards unlock in-store loyalty pricing for customers on Instacart. At this time, not all retailer loyalty programs allow customers to accrue customer points and other associated loyalty rewards (such as gas) on the Instacart platform.

Tipping is not required, but is encouraged for a job well done. Shopper tip defaults to 5% and can be increased or decreased by the customer. Tips are always optional and can be changed by the customer for up to three days after the delivery is complete. Tips go directly to the shopper delivering the customer’s order.

SHIPT SAME-DAY GROCERY DELIVERY

Shipt offers delivery from a variety of grocery stores in Tucson. To find a list of current available retailers, you can go to Shipt.com and enter your zip code.

A yearly Shipt membership is $99 per year and a monthly membership is $14 per month. In addition to its popular annual membership offering ($99/year for unlimited free deliveries of orders $35 or more), the company also offers customers the opportunity to pay per order ($10 per individual order).

Delivery is free for members on orders over $35. Smaller orders are welcome, but a $7 delivery fee will be added to help cover the costs of shopping and delivery.

Shipt prices vary slightly from in-store prices to help cover the costs of picking, packing and processing. Members can expect to pay about $5 more using Shipt than they would on a $35 order purchased in the store themselves.

When ordering from select retailers, a small service fee may be added at checkout.

Tips are not required, but are greatly appreciated. You may tip in cash or within the app and 100% of your tip will go to the shopper.

WALMART 

DELIVERY

Walmart’s delivery and Express delivery service is currently available in Tucson to some zip codes.

How it works:

• Order and Choose a Pickup Time: Customers begin at walmart.com or the Walmart mobile app. Enter your zip code and begin creating a shopping list. During check-out, select a time to for your order to be delivered. At the time of checkout, you will pay the delivery fee.
• User Friendly Shopping: When you are creating your order, the search feature at the top of the screen makes it easy to directly search for the exact items you need. Customers can order items from Walmart's food, consumables, and general merchandise assortment such as produce, pantry staples, everyday essentials, toys, and electronics.
• Personal Grocery Shoppers Fill the Basket: Walmart's team of 170,000 trained personal shoppers pick customers' orders, selecting the freshest produce, meats, and everyday essentials. Unlike other services where a banana costs more online than it costs in the store, Walmart's everyday low prices are the same no matter how you shop.
• Delivery: Your order will be delivered to your door within the delivery window that you chose. Tipping is not required, but the delivery drivers are allowed to accept tips of any amount.

Walmart’s delivery service offers customers their essentials as soon as the same day with a simple fee of $7.95 - $9.95 – no subscription required.

If you plan to use Walmart Grocery Delivery regularly, you can sign up for Walmart+ for $12.95/month or $98/year.

Customers can also use Express Delivery to order items from Walmart's food, consumables, and general merchandise assortment and receive them at their doorstep in two hours or less. Express delivery costs $10 on top of the existing delivery charge and there is no minimum purchase requirement.

CURBSIDE PICK-UP

Walmart also offers same-day curbside pick-up. No service fees. No tipping. There is a $35 minimum order amount.
