The resort features a collection of outdoor water features and pools including the multi-level reflection pool overlooking the city lights and the Starr Canyon Lazy River where guests can meander in an inner tube and glide to their heart's content. The Monsoon Falls Waterslide offers lots of excitement for all ages (the 175 foot slide plunges into the 85 degree water below!). A separate adults only lap pool is also available for a daily fee or with a treatment purchase at Hashani Spa.

Hiking and biking are obvious recreational choices since Starr Pass is located right at the base of Tucson National Park. Complimentary, guided morning hikes are offered daily.

If you enjoy golf, Starr Pass Golf Club offers two unique golf experiences - an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole course that offers a relaxing and all-encompassing golf experience.

The newly renovated full-service Hashani Spa offers an array of massage, body, and facial treatments for men and women, private pool, cabanas, and fitness center.

JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort also offers a complimentary guided morning hike, morning ritual, and evening tequila toast.

KID-FRIENDLY

Kids, 15 years old and under, play golf for free after 3:00pm when accompanied by a full paying adult.

The lazy river and waterslide will likely account for hours of water play. Note that the waterslide has a 42" height requirement and tandem riding is prohibited. For little ones, there is a small splash area. The waterslide is open daily from 7:00am-10:00pm.

JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort also has a small arcade - the Blu Arcade - which is open to children, teens, and families. The arcade games are available to play at an additional cost.

The children's menu (Family by JW) offers fun & innovative entree options (Chiquita Burrito, Veggie Quesadilla, Fish Tacos, Frybread, and Churros), alongside classic favorites like Build Your Own Pasta and Kids Tenders.

The breakfast buffet at Signature Grill, which is available every weekend, is a hit with young children (and absolutely everyone!) because they can enjoy everything from bacon and eggs and muffins to yogurt and fruit loops and smoked salmon. There's something for every palate!

DINING

There are several different dining options on-property at JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass.

Open for dinner, Passagio offers patio dining and features Italian specialties such as pizzas and pastas, along with hand-crafted cocktails and locally grown and organic ingredients, many from the restaurant’s garden.

Catalina BBQ Co & Sports Bar serves award-winning smoked meats and barbecue, and other Southwestern specialties for lunch and dinner.

JW Market is a vibrant market offering a selection of locally-inspired snacks and products from Tucson purveyors, as well as flatbreads, artisan breads, and sandwiches, plus wines and beers on tap.

Signature Grill offers a menu inspired by a trio of cultures, combining Native American, Mexican, and Cowboy influences. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with patio dining.

Salud is your casual bar stop for happy hour and the nightly tequila toast. Appetizers are available on the menu.

If you prefer to dine poolside, you can order salads, sandwiches, tacos, wraps, and cocktails at Plunge.

There is also a full-service, on-property Starbucks.

Great restaurant options to consider off property include: Agustin Kitchen (4.8 miles away), Maynards Market (5.9 miles away), and 47 Scott (6.2 miles away). Again, Starr Pass is in a very private location. Expect to drive 15-35 minutes to most area attractions and restaurants.
