Old Tucson | Ultimate Guide to Old Tucson

Old Tucson is an active movie studio and western theme park on the far west side of Tucson. Built in 1939, the Old West town has been the setting of more than 400 movies and television shows - including Arizona, Rio Brave, El Dorado, Three Amigos, Bonanza, The Mark of Zorro, and Tombstone.

Little House on the Prairie, starring Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert, was also filmed at Old Tucson between 1977-1983.

All on-site shows, rides, and attractions are included in the price of admission. Enjoy a small movie history museum, gun fights, stunt shows, and western vaudeville musicals. Ride the miniature train, antique carousel, and horse-pulled wagons up to High Chaparral. Take a historical tour, guided by an on-site Old Tucson Historian, and enter the Iron Door Gold Mine...if you dare! Old Tucson also offers a small shooting gallery and a petting zoo filled with lovable animals.
