The Ott Family YMCA has a robust group exercise schedule offering a variety of classes for all ages and abilities including pilates, yoga, zumba, aqua fitness, and low impact aerobics, to name a few.

CLASSES & PROGRAMS FOR BABIES & KIDS

Kids are a large part of any YMCA and Ott is no exception. Look through the catalog to find after-school camps, swim lessons, swim team, sports, martial arts, and tumbling. Other fun options: volleyball clinics, skateboard lessons, off-season basketball training, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, tap, and archery.

If you have little ones, members have access to the Child Watch program for children who are 6 weeks to 9 years. Members receive 2 free hours of Child Watch per day while using the facility. Child Watch staff are required to have previous work experience, CPR & First Aid certification, a criminal background screening, a TB test, and a fingerprint clearance card. Child to staff ratios vary by age and program, anywhere between 1:5 to 1:20.

SPECIAL EVENTS

The Ott Family YMCA also offers monthly Parents Night Out events and other seasonal community events such as a Dive-In Movie, an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt, and a Trunk or Treat event.

MEMBERSHIP FEES & DISCOUNTS

Memberships at any YMCA are affordable with scholarships available to serve all community members. In addition to use of the facilities, members also have access to all group exercise classes and other events. Another big perk? A membership provides access to YMCA facilities nationwide. On vacation? You can work out and enjoy access to any of the 2,700 YMCAs in the USA.

Please call the YMCA for current information on pricing and offerings.

The YMCA of Southern Arizona offers financial scholarships to those children and families that want to experience the YMCA, but do not have the resources to cover the full fees. Scholarship paperwork is available at the branch. See the front desk for assistance.
