The Tucson Symphony Orchestra is proud to present the ”Just for Kids” series – delightful concerts that dazzle families with classical music via storytelling and instrument demonstrations. Concerts are offered the first Saturday morning of every month, October through March.
For December’s concert, kids are in for a rootin’ tootin’ good time with a performance of “Pecos Bill, a West Side Story.”
SYNOPSIS: The TSO Percussion Ensemble follows Pecos Bill as he meets famous western characters and not-so-famous critters in the land of the Wild, Wild West Side. Dance to music from West Side Story and sing along to a Mexican children’s song. Audiences are encouraged to come dressed as a cowboy or cowgirl for this wild ride!
