Restaurant Review: GOLD at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort

GOLD at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa is an intimate and romantic restaurant that features "fresh and innovative contemporary American cuisine with a touch of desert-inspired flavor."

The elegant restaurant boasts an upscale environment with maroon and copper, magical mountain and city views. You can choose indoor or outdoor dining, depending on your dining style and the weather outside.

My husband and I both commented on the "freshness" of the ingredients and the diversity of spices in the dishes. The chef clearly knows how to create mouthwatering masterpieces - artful in both presentation and in taste.

If you choose to visit GOLD for lunch or dinner, you'll get a chance to try warm bread with prickly pear butter as you browse the menu.

Although there is a children's menu with healthful and interesting options, most diners in the restaurant are couples on a date night, business colleagues at lunch, and friends out to enjoy a leisurely meal. GOLD also qualifies as a top-notch option for celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, and more).

Note that if you order a burger off the menu on Tuesday, you'll receive a complimentary micro draft beer or house select wine.

Also: Thursday is a good night for dates - buy one entree, get the second entree half-off!
