RoadHouse Cinemas is expanding!
The upscale dine-in movie theatre, which is located in Central Tucson at Grant & Swan, is adding a brand new wing. The new space will be 10,000 square feet and will include three new screens, 225 more seats, and an additional kitchen.
This expansion is increasing the current seat count by 58%, which will ensure that more Tucsonans can experience the luxurious movie-going experience that RoadHouse has become known for.
When the addition is complete, the entire building will total 34,000 square feet.
Note that RoadHouse Cinemas is OPEN during construction and throughout the renovation. Don't try to enter from Swan Road though - the parking lot on the north side of the building will be closed. All movie-goers are advised to enter Crossroads Festival from Grant Road.
According to Director of Operations Scott Cassell, the expansion will allow RoadHouse to "hold movies longer, show a little better variety, and also have more seats to offer guests." He added that, "Tucson has responded very favorably to RoadHouse Cinemas and we are all so very grateful for the patronage and support of our guests."
Cassell told us that RoadHouse is also "looking very seriously at another potential location...close to Tucson mall." Stay tuned for official announcements.
He explained that RoadHouse has "been presented with a number of exciting and potentially locative opportunities in other states" as well.
If you haven't been to RoadHouse yet, you're missing out. "RoadHouse offers an extraordinary restaurant menu created by an award-winning chef and restaurateur, an impressively creative full bar featuring high quality wines and Arizona craft beers, and overwhelmingly comfortable recliners, all to be enjoyed while experiencing state-of-the-art digital projection and 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound." It's the best way to watch a movie in Tucson.
