Volunteer Southern Arizona’s Youth Volunteer Corps invites teens (ages 11 to 18) to participate in a meaningful service-learning project called ‘Save a Drop’ (in partnership with REALM and the Pima County Cooperative Extension).
During this service project, youth volunteers will paint a cistern for a new community farm and have a hands-on cooking class/experience with native foods.
The youth volunteers will also get to know each other and learn about gardening in the Sonoran Desert.
Youth can sign-up online or by calling 520-881-3300. There are still spots available.
