The Container Store Is Coming to Tucson

The Container Store in Tucson rendering

The Container Store is coming to Tucson this May!

The 21,000 square foot store will be located at Tucson Mall at the northeast corner of Oracle and Wetmore Road.

If you're unfamiliar with The Container Store concept, it is "the original container and organization store." In other words, you'll find everything you need for storage, shelving, and decor for all the rooms in your house. If your idea of a good time is re-organizing the closet and color-coding labels for your pantry, you're in luck.

How will the store compare in size and scope to other Container Stores in the U.S.? Nina Smith, Public Relations Coordinator, has this to say, "Each of our stores takes on the personality of its local market – through the physical site/look of building, our employee base, our community outreach, and more –  but the collection and shopping experience is consistent from market to market.  That’s one of the differentiators of our company – our customers can expect a consistent experience whether they’re shopping a store in Tucson, Phoenix, Los Angeles, or New York."

The Grand Opening Weekend will be Saturday, May 30, 2015 and Sunday, May 31, 2015. As part of the Grand Opening celebration, Tucson Symphony Orchestra will receive 10% of all Grand Opening Weekend sales. In addition to the nonprofit partnership, they’ll be giving away prizes every hour, on the hour, including a $1,000 elfa® Space Makeover with Installation.
