Ultimate Guide to Tucson Bike Tours

Tucson Bike Tours opened in 2014

Tucson Bike Tours is a company that specializes in bicycle tours of Tucson's historic neighborhoods around downtown, 4th avenue, and the university.

Established in 2014 by a former Peace Corps volunteer and his wife, each tour takes you on a 7-10 mile tour through the heart of the city.

Each tour includes an individually fitted bicycle & helmet, water, and a knowledgable guide.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Where do you meet for the tour?

The meeting place is at the Tucson Bike Tours office at 215 N. Hoff Avenue near Congress and Toole.

What time are the tours?

There are three different tours to choose from.

  • The Historic City Tour is at 9:00am and 12:00pm (noon).
  • The Mural Tour is at 3:00pm, which will allow you to see 35-40 murals around town!

Tour routes vary, but you may ride through any of the below areas/neighborhoods:

  • Iron Horse - Ride into the belly of a massive rattlesnake bridge.
  • Downtown - See the old train depot and the revitalized city center.
  • Presidio - Tucson's oldest buildings and the birthplace of the chimichanga.
