Are you dreaming of laying out at the pool with a good book in hand? Feeling the warmth of the sun on your shoulders while ordering menu items at a swim-up cantina? Cooling off with a margarita or specialty cocktail? Zipping down a waterslide or gliding around a lazy river?
Many people have asked us if any of the Tucson resorts or hotels offer day passes or summer use passes for locals.
We investigated and found that almost all Tucson resorts reserve their pools for overnight guests.
Arizona Inn, El Conquistador Tucson, JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa, Loews Ventana Canyon, The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, and White Stallion Ranch all confirmed that they DO NOT offer day passes for pool use in order to provide the best experience for their guests.
BUT DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR POOL DREAMS YET! The good news is that Tucson hotel/resort rates are at their lowest in the summer! Consider booking an overnight room with your spouse, your kids, or a group of friends between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Here is a brief overview of summer rates, specials, and packages at Tucson resorts + hotels for this summer:
***The only resort that offers something in the "day/summer pass" category is Hacienda Del Sol. Resort Pass is another option to consider. Details below.
Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort does not offer day passes, but the resort does allow pool access with the purchase of any spa treatment. Contact the spa to schedule your massage or facial.
The spa also offers a popular Weekday Wellness Package through June, which includes pool access, two spa treatments, and a $25 dining gift card for $300 (includes gratuity). Available Monday - Friday.
You may be able to score mid-week day passes to select local resorts (including JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, and Omni Tucson National Resort) on Resort Pass. Enjoy!
