The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures, located in northeast Tucson, is always a magical place to visit – with miniature scenes to marvel at and a hidden fairy to find.
During the holidays, the museum takes on a new level of holiday splendor.
During Wee Winter Wonderland, the museum’s lobby and galleries are decorated for the season. Additionally, fifteeen miniatures are decorated to depict holiday celebrations around the world such as Shogatsu, Hanukkah, Christmas in the Southwest, a Danish Christmas celebration, New Year’s Eve in the 1930’s, Kwanzaa, and more. Look for the blue and red story panels which identify the miniatures and explain the history of the holiday and its traditions.
