Frozen yogurt shops seem to be popping up all over the country...and Tucson is no exception. Current brands in our city include BTO Yogurt, U-Swirl, Pinkberry, and Tutti Frutti.
Yogurtland is the newest to the scene. Located at 2800 N. Campbell Avenue (just north of Glenn), this Central Tucson shop features approximately 10 flavors and a multitude of toppings. Pick a bowl size, fill it up, and you'll be charged at a rate of 37 cents per ounce. Most people who fill up their bowls with a flavor or two (plus toppings) will pay $3-4.
Seasonal flavors are introduced regularly and you're more than welcome to mix flavors in your bowl to suit your taste buds. Fall flavors include: Banana Nut Bread, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie, Pumpkin Pie, Fudge Brownie, and Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cookie. Other flavors on the menu include French Vanilla, New York Cheesecake, Pistachio, and more.
As for the topping bar, Yogurtland boasts more than 15 different kinds of fruit and more than 45 choices of other premium toppings to customize your yogurt creation. Try bananas, blackberries, honeydew melon, kiwi, peaches, granola, carob chips, yogurt chips, coconut flakes, Hershey’s Heath Bar, Reese's Pieces, etc.
The Campbell shop itself is small with mostly two-person tables - probably best for a date or friend meet-up rather than a large group or family. Though not robust in square footage, the store is airy, colorful, modern, and clean.
